Happy Birthday Cate!

Just want to send out a Happy Birthday to my sister Cathy in England, hope it's a good one!!

The weekend looks like it will be busy even though we're staying home this time around.  I'm getting my car insurance changed over tomorrow with Pete's friend Lisa (a State Farm agent), so that will save us some money compared to my DC prices.  Then, we have a fence to build in the backyard with some trellis stuff from Home Depot.  That way, Sassy can roam about without having to worry about the neighbor's dog who sometimes runs loose, or the cats that I see here and there.  We often have neighbor kids also run through my backyard area, so that'll have to stop...yeah, I feel like the old lady who yells "Get off my lawn." hehehehe

Then we have another baseball game to go to tomorrow evening, and on Sunday we are going to a Renaissance Festival (my first), with Lisa and Pete's son Nate.  We're supposed to somehow fit in some painting and unpacking too, but my guess is, that stuff probably won't get done.  Oh yeah, and laundry and grocery shopping too...egad.  Pete is one damned ambitious human.

Anyway, next weekend I'm planning to head down to DC to get the rest of my stuff, but that's only if I get the current stuff unpacked and removed from the walking space in my new apartment.  I won't know where to put all the other stuff unless this stuff is out of the way. TOO MUCH STUFF!!  AAAUUGGGHHH!!!  I have some kind of mental block that I can't seem to overcome right now, hanging up all my clothes and unpacking more stuff.  Don't know why.

Well, so that's life in my little world of Pittsburgh.  I don't know my way around this place yet so it's all still a mystery;  I can, however, find my way to the nearest dollar store, so that's really all that matters, right?! hehehehe  (Hence, the "too much stuff" issue).

Bye for now.  Love, Becky-the-packrat-who-can't-seem-to-unpack
