We're moving!

Ok....before I hyperventilate with excitement, I figured I should write a quick entry to let everybody know that today, Pete and I found the PERFECT HOUSE that we both fell in love with.....so now we're in the process of talking with the home owners about either renting, or renting-to-own it!!

I'm gonna just gush about it, so bear with me, I can't help my girly-girl self....when I saw the ad on craig's list, I nearly fell off my chair because I fell in love with it at first sight.  Pete was like, "Yeahhh okay, you're just a silly girl, calm down, there's gotta be some flaws with the place," but we went to look at it today and BOTH OF US fell in love with it!!

It's located off the beaten path, very near the downtown Pittsburgh area, BUT, in a secluded and quiet neighborhood only minutes from the main highway---but it's situated on 1/3 acres---so it's like being in the country too---SUPER quiet, peaceful, AWESOME---with deer, turkey, owls, squirrels, etc., that roam about in the yard from time to time----which I absolutely LOVE.  The commute for us both to work will be only 15-20 minutes, which is AWESOME....and it's located on a bus line that takes us directly downtown!  SWEET!!

There's a wrap-around porch around the entire house....MAJOR COOKOUT PARTIES!! YAYY! You're all invited of course, we'll even spare no expense and make s'mores!! WOOO HOOO!!  (I'm hyperventilating again, sorry, let me catch my breath).....ahem.....okay, so there's a 2 car garage, which makes Pete VERY happy, AND a large enough driveway that 3 or 4 cars can be parked there too. Above the garage is a large studio/apartment area, but we would need to put some insulation and dry wall all around it, along with some flooring, before it's live-able.  SO WHAT!! WE LOVE TO DO THAT CRAP!! Home Depot, here we come!!

There are radiators throughout the house, with nice new built-on shelves sitting on top of them---I've seen those on HGTV and I've always loved that idea---and there's air conditioning, a DISHWASHER (which we don't have currently and I LOATHE DOING DISHES BY HAND)---and a washer/dryer down in the basement so we don't have to spend our weekends at the laundry-mat anymore, and we don't have to spend quarters on the machines in our current home in the basement either!! YAYY!! There's also an extra fridge down in the basement too, which is sweet.

I'm SO TOTALLY gonna get  COMPLETELY BUCK NAKED and dance around in every room once we sign the lease!! WOOOO HOOOO!!! (No, we will NOT have pictures of that here for you to see, so don't even ask!!) Ya buncha sick and twisted perverts!! Ya'll oughta be ASHAMED!!! hehehehe

OH GOD....here's a fun wild shocker for ya'll....well, maybe not....because we've already told you all that Pete and I are into the kinky BDSM stuff, that's no real surprise, even if you don't really understand it-----let's just say it's an added bonus that keeps us both giddy on endorphins----it's all good----so YAYYYY!!! We might even build our own DUNGEON SPACE above the garage!!  YAYYYYY and DOUBLE YAYYY!! We both drooled over THAT idea!!! hehehehehe  GOD BLESS THE WORLD OF DUNGEON KINK!! WOOOO HOOOOO!! hehehe.....ahem....

Well dang it, I TOLD ya I'm a bit geeked right now...and NO, there won't be any pictures of THAT stuff on here either, so dammit, go be a voyeur somewhere else!!! LOL

Ok ok....hyperventilating again....sorry.....there's a large open kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, which made me DROOL....nicely bright with windows overlooking the backyard area....and a full sized formal dining room, which Pete is now going to ask his mom if he can have the family dining room set that she's got stored at her house and doesn't use anymore. There's a small utility room off the dining room area, and a guest bedroom OR family room adjacent to the dining room area, with its own bathroom and huge shower stall that even has a built-in seat, which is perfect for Pete's mom when she comes to visit. (Or MY mom for that matter!)  It's spacious and nicely decorated too.

Then the living room----holy bejeezus, it's a nice size with windows so it's nice and bright too, with a GAS FIREPLACE, (I'm drooling again).....and HARDWOOD FLOORS all the way throughout the whole house, which just makes me melt....GOD BLESS HARDWOOD FLOORS! Anyway, then upstairs there are 2 smaller bedrooms, (one might become our office), and a larger bedroom that we would share as a master, and the CLOSET is to DIE FOR, with a built in SHOE RACK.....there I go again, drooling.....and an attic space for storage AND a full sized BASEMENT that has  a washer/dryer and workout room with all sorts of equipment. When Pete saw that, he threw both his arms up over his head and shouted YAYYYY!! hehehehehehe

The current home owners are 2 gay guys who recently adopted a daughter, and they had to buy a bigger place, so they moved at Thanksgiving time and still have a lot of stuff at the house that they haven't moved out yet.  We talked a bit about the "rent-to-own" option, and they seem really interested in doing that, so we may just sign a contract before the end of January!  The whole month of February, subsequently, will be blown right to hell with packing and moving, but YAYYY we'll be in a house together that I can decorate and call my own, for the first time in my whole LIFE....I can't even begin to tell you how awesome that is....having lived in other people's houses all my life all the time, with roommates, or in a tiny apartment by myself.... so this is rather huge for us both really, moving up to the next step in our "shacking up" phase.

We were both giddy with glee all day long....I thought maybe I'd be the one going ape-shit all day long with Pete being the devil's advocate and telling me "no way..." but HE loves it just as much as I do....so we danced around and talked all excitedly about it all day long....then we took a nap!! hahahaha.....it was just too much excitement for us old geezers I guess.  Now, keep in mind that right now, nothing is official, we haven't signed a lease yet or anything, but hopefully in the next couple weeks I will have that announcement as an official thing that we can all celebrate.  It'll be perfect for friends and family to come visit this spring/summer, when everything is moved, settled in, decorated and ready to roll!!

Actually, we took the nap because TONIGHT we're going to see LISA LAMPANELLI in concert. She's the most hilarious stand-up comedienne EVER, like a female version of Don Rickles and George Carlin all mixed into one....so we're going to the 10:30 p.m. show, after Pete finishes doing the sound for Sweeney Todd (the play) at the local community theater.  Next week we're going to see JERSEY BOYS, a play that Pete is dying to go see, because he was born in NJ.

Well, that's the scoop and I hope all is well with everyone...we'll keep you posted about the house, but if I can get some pictures soon, I'll add them here...I'll do that now, as a matter of fact, with the pics they put on the ad!! So then you can all see part of it too!  HERE IT IS!!

GGAAAAAAAA!!!! Don't you just LOVE IT!!! WOOO HOOO!!!  I'm so geeked!! YAYYYY!

Love, Becky & Pete
