The funny thing is...

Well if it is just beer that worries Rebecca she does not have to fear my intentions, because I do not like beer. However she has already noticed that I can drink quite a bit of diet Mt. Dew. So she may come in handy when shopping for soft drinks.

We just had a great weekend traveling to NJ. It seemed like all we did was drive, eat and sleep for three days. (We took Friday off to have a long weekend.) In NJ we found a great deli that served the biggest sandwiches we have ever seen. One couple near us said that the get one sandwich to split and take the left overs home and eat on it for FOUR days! The even took a half a loaf of bread from the pickle bar for their dogie bag! It was amazing. And the food was good too. We went there for breakfast on Sunday and ordered one omelet to share. It was so big we had to take some home. This morning we ate the left overs for breakfast and were both full again. This place makes going to NJ worth the drive!

Speaking of driving, we each took turns on this trip and found out that we both have similar driving styles (Everybody get out of my way!) And we both wish we had a break on the passenger side. But while the trips are fun we also are both looking forward to the date (soon we hope) when she will in Pittsburgh and we can just stay in one place for a while. So with that in mind we did some painting of the new apartment last Friday and I will keep that up this week. New carpet is suppose to go in before Labor Day weekend, and after that it will just be a matter of Rebecca getting a new job (She had a great interview on Friday!) and finding a room mate to replace her in VA. Yea, it is all a bit scary at times, but never when we are together. At those times I just wish we didn't have to say good bye, even when it is only for three or four days.
