Renaissance Fair and other photos

Having just moved to Pittsburgh a few weeks ago, I've been so busy unpacking stuff, rearranging furniture, and painting, we haven't had a lot of time to go and have FUN. So, last weekend, Pete took me out to see a Pirates baseball game (again)...and then on Sunday we took off to a Renaissance Festival with our friend Lisa.  It was a very nice weekend, we had a good time, and here are some photos of our excursions!

This was my first Renaissance Festival EVER, so of course we just HAD to do the dorky touristy thing and put our heads on a cardboard cutout!  hehehehe  I think we look cool!

And what would a Renaissance Festival BE without stocks?!  I mean COME ON! Ya GOTTA have those!  So, of course I'm the dorky tourist and had to get in 'em...

And of course, one of Pete's favorite places to be in this world, is on the THROWN! hehehe
He bought himself a cool pirate hat with plume feathers too! ARRRGGHH MATIES!!

So of course, I had to wear his pirate hat, stick out my tongue, and sit on the thrown too!

And of course, now that I've uploaded these photos, the other ones of the baseball game don't seem to want to upload for some reason, like yesterday. GRRR. I will try again later with those.

In other news, Pete starts rehearsals soon for his upcoming play entitled "I'm sorry, the bridge is out, you'll have to stay the night," and it's a Halloween story written by the same guy who wrote the song "Monster Mash," so it's got all the usual cliche characters like Pete's character, Dr. Frankenstein, and Igor, and the Wherewolf, Dracula, and the Mummy.  Pete's son, Nate, is scheduled to play the Frankenstein monster too!  Pete's other kids are coming down from NY the opening weekend of the play to see it too.  Should be fun!

I am now starting to job hunt more and more every day, so hopefully soon I'll have some good news about that.  Stay tuned!

Love, Becky and Pete
