Photos and Michigan update

Hello all,

Here's the scoop for October:

1. This coming weekend, Pete and I are driving to DC to get the rest of my stuff that we left behind during the big move. I also have to repaint the pink bathroom for the new tenant, as I promised I would but ran out of time. We're going to stay the night Saturday and drive back on Sunday.

2. The following weekend, October 11-13, Pete and I will be in Michigan, attending the wedding of my buddy David. I am playing my flute in the wedding, as you all know, so I've been practicing the music that I finally got from his cousin, who is also singing for him. I hope we can rehearse a couple times before actually performing, because I'm kinda rusty!! Luckily the music seems to be pretty easy though, so hopefully it will turn out okay. We are going to leave super early on Saturday, get there hopefully around noon/lunchtime, and then check into the hotel. After that, I'm not sure if there is a rehearsal dinner that evening or what, so we MIGHT have time to drive over to Muskegon to see everyone, but I won't know that until we get there. I will call Laurie and my sister Tammy to let you all know what's happening. The wedding is on Sunday afternoon, I think at 4 p.m., with a reception afterwards, and then we're staying until Monday morning. We'll have to drive back to Pittsburgh Monday but Pete took the day off so we don't have to rush. If we CAN go over to Muskegon to hang out with everybody for a bit, we will, but again we will call to let everyone know the plan.

3. The weekend after that, Pete is in a play and his kids are coming down from NY to attend and stay the night with us. I've also invited my friend Barbara to come visit for the weekend.

4. This brings us to the last weekend in October, and so far all I know is, we're going to a Halloween party. We're looking for costumes right now. Last night we went to a Halloween store and Pete found a funny "Whoopee Cushion" costume that he liked, but we didn't buy anything yet.

And that brings us to November. WOW this fall is going fast!!

HEY!! I will need Christmas ideas ASAP from Laurie, Tammy and my Mom...so get busy ya'll, and send me an email with the sizes of clothes for the kids, (if they need some, and tell me what kind, like if they need jeans, or sweaters, or whatever)...and be sure to include stuff that you want or need yourself too, like CDs, or clothes, or household stuff, or whatever you can think of. For Cathy and Steve in England, please send me a list ASAP because I'll have to ship your package before Thanksgiving, and I will need a week or so to get it all wrapped and ready before that.

Here are some recent photos for you:

This was taken at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, back in July! hehehehehehe

This was taken while riding on the Cape May-Lewes Delaware car ferry. We took the boat over to save money on gas, and mileage, to visit Ben when he was living in Wildwood New Jersey this summer. Pete and I loved the ferry, it's a very relaxing 1.5 hour ride, and he got some work done on his laptop too, so it made the trip much more enjoyable for him.

Here's me, at the last baseball game we attended a couple weekend ago, with the Pittsburgh Pirate mascot!! hehehehehe (Pittsburgh played the Houston Astros and we won, and then we saw Lynard Skynard perform in concert afterwards).

Here we are, at the Renaissance Festival last weekend, as "King and Queen." hehehehehe

And here I am at the Renaissance Festival, in the stocks! hehehe I love those silly touristy things.

And here's Pete, sitting on his thrown, hahahaha....wearing a Pirate hat that he bought, complete with feathers and everything! He looks so pirate-ish!!

In recent news, I have some job interviews lined up this week so hopefully soon I'll be able to say, "I'm working again!" Wish me luck.

That's all for now. Love, Becky and Pete

Just to make sure you all know we are coming on the 24-26. Not the 17-19 like originally planned. Just so you know.
