Here's an update about the Christmas plans...
Pete and I are planning to leave Pittsburgh early on Wednesday Dec. 24, (Xmas Eve) to drive up to Michigan. We will have to bring Sassy along, as we won't be able to leave her at home because nobody will be here and the pet sitter is booked.
We will need to get a room at a motel that is "pet-friendly." I'd like to bring her over to see everybody, at least for a short visit, but I know with other animals around, that won't exactly be a comfortable thing for everyone, so if you'd prefer we NOT bring her along, just let us know and we'll leave her at the hotel.
We'll get there probably later in the evening on Xmas Eve, so we'll most likely just go get the hotel and relax with dinner and hit the hay. On Dec. 25th, Xmas Day, we'd like to visit with everyone, but it depends on YOUR schedule, and if you'll be home or not. If you have plans to go visit other people in the evening, we'll come spend time with you in the day time. If you have plans to be elsewhere during the daytime, we'll plan on spending some time with you in the evening.
Depending on how much time is available for us to hang out and visit you, we MIGHT stay another night, but that's kind of up in the air, and depends on the finances, and the weather.
We'll most likely leave either later on Xmas Day, OR, stay overnight and leave the next morning on the 26th, to drive to Rochester NY. We'll be visiting Pete's kids and his mom for a couple days, and then heading back to Pittsburgh to celebrate Pete's birthday which is December 30th, and we'll spend New Years Eve together in the 'burgh, too.
Anyway, so that's the scoop. If you want to see us in Muskegon, please plan on being there the 24th, 25th or 26th and we'll do our best to visit everyone for as long as we can. Let me know if you have any questions, just send me an email.
