I hope everyone has a happy and enjoyable Thanksgiving day tomorrow, enjoy your friends and family and eat too much! That's what I plan to do! We're going to deep-fry our turkey, so let's hope it turns out okay and doesn't burn the house down...hehehe...and of course we'll have the green bean casserole with crispy fried onions on top, and I'm making cranberry sauce with real cranberries and Splenda, and then we'll have sweet potatoes with brown sugar and marshmallows on them, and regular mashed potatoes with gravy, then Pete is making something called "creamed pearl onions," which I've never had but it sounds good...and then we'll have pumpkin pie with cool whip for dessert. YUMMM.
I'm very thankful for my family and friends, and I am grateful for the chance at having a new life with Pete here in Pittsburgh as well.
Also, I'm happy to report that all of my Christmas shopping is DONE, and most of it is WRAPPED! So I'm glad that I can avoid all the malls and crazy hassle and crowds this time of year. We are tentatively planning to drive to Michigan to deliver these goodies sometime between Christmas and the New Year, as Pete has that whole week off. I'll keep you all posted on when and how long we'll be staying. It also depends on the weather and of course, the finances.
Bye for now. Love, Becky and Pete
