I almost forgot to post some photos of the wedding we attended in Detroit a couple weekends ago. It was my friend David's wedding, he asked me to play my flute in it, so I obliged. The whole thing was very elegant and sophisticated, and it turned out beautifully.
Here are some photos...
I've never seen David so happy before, he's never grinned from ear to ear like that unless he felt sarcastic or sadistic about something...Pete says it's the "Oh my God I'm really going thru with this" stunned deer-in-the-headlights look...hehehe
Here is one of the 3 of us together, before the wedding ceremony began. It was at the synagogue Emanu-El near Detroit, and we all had a very nice time. The rehearsal dinner was held at Olive Garden, and we had a very nice time at the reception after the wedding also. Hebe is from the Phillippines, where David is currently stationed for his job at the State Department. He will be there until 2010 or 2011, and then they are planning to move back to DC to live in his house, where I once lived with him as a roommate.
Now I'm starting to get some wedding ideas of my own! (I very nearly bought some invitations the other day, but I put them back). Pete just shook his head and smiled...it's too soon for all that for ME right now, but maybe next year...who knows.
Bye for now! Love, Becky
